* Work collaboratively to support faculty educators to plan, design and develop educational experiences that enhance learning flexibility and effectiveness.
* Assist instructors in course creation or revision, and the implementation of educational technologies for online learning courses and modules.
* Review current resources and assist in identifying gaps in the knowledge base and develops new resources based on those gaps.
* Write, edit, and produce video tutorials, screencasts, and how-to guides to support instructors and students on the different features and tools of various educational technologies.
* Monitors delivery of online courses and programs; assesses and evaluates learning tools; identifies issues, resolves and/or escalates as appropriate.
* Provide consultation, encouragement and support to faculty members, instructors and instructional support personnel in their selection of educational technologies for technology-enhanced, distance and blended learning course offerings.
* Perform academic literature searches and environmental scans of other eLearning resources, modules and courses.
* Keep current on the new tools and applications available to support teaching and learning. Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of the technical architecture of eLearning applications.
* Work with the Educational Technology Manager to help make recommendations on the use of the appropriate technology services and products and the purchase of related hardware, software and network equipment.
* Troubleshoot problems with teaching and learning technologies in regards to application of materials for the delivery of Faculty courses and programs.
* Support the Office of Educational Support and Development team as needed.
